Love this skimmer it actually makes skimming the pool fun and it does a great job. Would definatly recommend it to other pool owners!

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Pros: great idea, ease of using, nice looking.
Cons: Extremely loud, needs finer mesh net, batteries need to be removed from boat to be recharged. You get about 20 mins before it loses power and you have to charge for exactly 4 hours or you can ruin the battery. Pricey.
When I take my cover off things sink so you use a pole skimmer to be quick. The only use for this is while things are falling in the pool while people are swimming(to many waves and not safe) or right before covering the pool(it will take you 20mins and the fine stuff that you are getting goes through the net).
Conclusion: save your money

Turns on a dime, really works well as a skimmer. It makes cleaning the pool fun. All the kids are begging to use it (how often does that happen).
